One side features raised grill ribs that sear grill marks onto steaks, chicken, fish, and vegetables; the opposite side is a flat smooth plate suited to frying eggs, cooking fajitas, sautéing vegetables, and anything requiring direct contact with an even heat surface. The plate measures 34.6 cm × 31.8 cm × 5.1 cm and weighs 5.75 kg. It arrives pre-seasoned and ready to cook, though re-seasoning will be required over its lifetime in line with standard cast iron care.
