Experience the best that wood-fired cooking has to offer with Gozney Kiln-Dried Dome Wood. Crafted from premium ash and beech hardwoods, this fuel is kiln-dried to a moisture content of just 15% (compared to standard seasoned hardwood at 40%) to deliver maximum heat output and efficiency.

Sized specifically for Gozney Dome series ovens (20–50mm x 140mm), these dense hardwood logs produce a clean, complete burn with minimal smoke output, creating a large, rolling flame and intense floor saturation. Ideal for reaching and maintaining temperatures up to 500°C, Gozney Wood imparts an authentic wood-fired flavour to pizzas, seared steaks, and roasted dishes.

  • Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated indoor space or sealed storage container to maintain the low 15% moisture level. Keep elevated off damp ground.
  • Lighting Tip: Use natural firelighters and hardwood kindling to establish a hot ember bed before adding Gozney Dome logs.
  • Ash Management: Allow the oven and ash to cool completely before removing spent embers from the oven floor.

Heating the Gozney Dome to saturation temperature and cooking for a typical session uses approximately 3.5 kg of wood. At maximum temperature, consumption is roughly 2 kg per hour.
