Specially designed for making pies upside down: it allows you to prepare the caramel on the stove and bake the dessert in the oven on a single plate.
This mould with extra-thick walls spreads the heat evenly and is ideal for upside-down apple tarts
Allows you to form a caramel layer directly in the mould while it's on the heat (gas, electric hotplate, etc.)
Once the caramel is formed in the mould, add the apple slices, cover with pastry, and place the mould into the oven
