  • Stone Cleaning: Use high-heat burn-off to clear food residue. Never clean the cordierite stone with water, soap, or chemical cleaners. Brush clean with a brass or stainless steel pizza oven brush once cooled.
  • Exterior Shell: Wipe down the ceramic-coated exterior shell with warm soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
  • Covering & Storage: Keep the oven covered when not in use using the official Gozney Dome XL cover to shield it from harsh weather and soot accumulation.
  • Ash Management: Regularly clear ash after wood-firing once the oven has fully cooled to maintain clear airflow and clean combustion.
